We had a few new foster children come in and out of the house and it always throws me for a loop when we get new children in the home. I have to go from having 4 kids to 5 or 6 kids. Just learning how to manage everything in a different way. We had a newborn for about 4 months and well let's just say I am not as young as I used to be. LOL Whew, it was hard. He has since moved on to be with a loving ,adopting family member. We still have one sweet teenage girl in the home and she is doing great. She is set to graduate next Wednesday from high school. YAY
For those of you who did not know our oldest daughter Cyndi (19 on Jan.6th) is having her first child, our first grandchild, in Feb. So, just about 8 more weeks and I will be a "Mimi". Holy Cow that is crazy stuff. But, I could not be more happier. I can not wait to meet that little BOY and hold him, love on him and kiss him. His due date is Feb.17th, just a few days after my birthday. His name is going to be Colton.
Jonathan will be 18, YES, i said 18 on Jan.6th. I can't believe it. It seems so weird that he is going to officially be an adult. He is looking forward to his birthday.
Blake will be 16, on Jan.1st. He is anxiously awaiting the day he can drive by himself. He already is set to take his driving test so he can get his license. He is a great driver and so I am not super worried about him driving and I have done this 2x already in the past few years so it makes it somewhat easier to have yet another teen driver in the house. I am sure that it will be nerve wrenching those first few weeks though just as it was with the others.
Baleigh...well she is Baleigh. She did recently fly alone to Kansas to visit my niece. Wow, that was a biggie but she did it and I am so proud of her. She is so mature for her age and is growing up so fast on me. She has become consumed with fashion, hair and makeup over the past few months and is now hoping to graduate early to pursue a career in that area.
Bryce....WOW!!!! he keeps me hopping!!! He is such an energetic, funny little bug. I tell you that each day that little rascal comes up with the most funniest things. Seriously I can't imagine my life without him. I feel so at peace now that he is officially mine and some days I just hold him and cry. I love him so much. I have so many friends adopting right now and to them I say adoption is no different then birthing that child your self. The bond that we have is unbelievable and I have to thank God everyday for choosing me to be Bryce's mommy.
I pray that each and everyone if you have a wonderful Christmas.
Hopefully I will be able to stay more up to date on my blogs now....... LOL
